The OpenExpo2015.it website is realized by FormezPA with the support of Italy’s Department for Public Administration. AgID , Sciamlab e Wikitalia have collaborated to the project.
- Italy’s Department for Public Administration was established in 1983 (as by art. 27 of law 29 March 1983, N° 93) to the Presidency of the Council of Ministers, in order to respond to the Italian Public Administration’s needs for modernization. The department to which a minister without Portfolio and delegated by the President of the Council of Ministers refers to, fosters the initiative of administration reforms towards efficiency, effectiveness and cost-effectiveness of the administrative action. - FormezPA is an acknowledged association, a legal entity governed by private law, subject to the control, supervision, inspection powers of Italy’s Presidency of the Council of Ministers – Department for Public Administration. The state administrations, regions, provinces, unions of municipalities and mountain communities may become members of the association. More information
- Agenzia per l'Italia Digitale (AgID) coordinates the actions on innovation to foster ICT technologies in support of the Public Administration, thus ensuring the achievement of the Italian digital agenda’s goals in consistency with the European digital agenda. More information
- Sciamlab is an engineering enterprise whose headquarters are located in Rome with branches in Berlin and Warsaw, qualified in streamlining and automation of business processes and in knowledge analysis and mining from complex data sources. More information
- Wikitalia is an association formally established on 31 January 2012 when for the first time, the meeting of project promoters was held (launched on 17 October 2011), who in the meantime had become founding members. On that day, the chair, the steering board and the executive committee were elected. More information
Expo 2015 S.p.A. takes part in the transparency project titled Open Expo and delivers data linked to the management and organization of the event for the purpose of its integral publication in “open data” format.
- Expo 2015 S.p.A is an enterprise established on 1 December 2008 to meet the commitments undertaken by the Italian Republic towards BIE (Bureau International des Expositions) after Milan was designated the winning city to host the 2015 Universal Exposition, as proclaimed on 31 March 2008. The Enterprise has carried out the task to realize Expo Milano 2015. Expo 2015 S.p.A. shareholding structure is composed as such: Government of the Italian Republic (Ministry of the Economy and Finance, 40%); Region of Lombardia (20%); Municipality of Milan (20%); Province of Milan (10%); Chamber of Commerce for Industry, Agriculture and Handicraft (10%).
