Updated data on works, financial flows, worksites and works now available

Open Expo, an initiative aiming at making the progress of works, financial flows, purchases and payments transparent and easy to be controlled, is enriched with new content and data that Expo2015 S.p.A. displays in open format on the website dati.openexpo2015.it. .

Since April 30, 2015 the website section Open Data has provided full data concerning the expenditure on goods and services starting from 2012, including updated data on the worksites with the latest details on the progress of the works (the certification of data and its publication take place 30 days after the works have been actually handed over). Furthermore, the website enables to surf the map of the exhibition site, thus identifying the several works, as well as to visualize a dashboard for each worksite, which summarizes the related economic data.

Open Expo currently publishes the data referring to 34 lots of the works: almost 467 million euros out of over 618 million euros contracted out for works by Expo 2015 have undergone financial budgeting, while over 100 million completed works are being subject to audit.

All assignments for goods and services until February 2015 are published in open format: over 1,900 assignments for a total expenditure of over 150 million euros.
